| Hans Hedemann Professional Surfer and Hawaiian Waterman and a team of Lifeguard and CPR trained instructors dedicated to an enriched Hawaiian Surfing experience, provide a great adventure for the beginner, intermediate and advanced surfer. Learn proper water safety and etiquette, paddling technique, turning the surfboard, maneuvering over waves and positioning to stand up and ride a wave. Semi-private lessons (2 students per instructor) and private lessons (one to one surfing instruction) ensure a higher wave count, more specific instruction, guidance and better results. Semi private and private lessons also include a free Hans Hedemann T-Shirt. Surf School operates daily at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Children must be in good physical condition, not afraid of waves and able to swim in four feet of water. Children must be at least 14 years of age (except where noted). Waikiki prices include transfers, or guests can check-in at the Park Shore Waikiki. Check in for North Shore lessons is at Turtle Bay Hotel at the Hans Hedemann activity desk. |
