The beach here is the most expansive in the entire Kaanapali resort area and there is an abundance of coral and tropical fish of every type awaiting you just off the ocean's edge. Turtles are frequently seen swimming just off shore and cliff drivers are a common sight. The ocean is very calm here and welcomes you into the water with open arms. You may even want to swim around the corner of Black Rock to experience even more world class snorkeling. Hawaii Honeymoon couples are often seen here holding hands while they are snorkeling.

The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa offers a wide selection of accomodations. From a garden view room all the way up to an oceanfront room. A favorite of honeymooners is the Deluxe Oceanview room. All rooms are oversized so you will never feel a lack of space. All of the rooms offer private lanai's and are excellent for having your private breakfast or dinner that you've ordered in while on your Hawaii honeymoon.

There are several full service open air restaurants located around the resort,offering from casual up to a formal dining experience. Both buffet and sit down dining is offered.

One of the best pools in Maui for Honeymoon couples is located at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa. A 143 yard freshwater "river pool" winds through several acres of this beachfront resort and spa. Newly married honeymoon couples can often be seen holding hands while floating under bridges and through grottos, only stopping at several of the hidden jacuzzi hot tubs.

The oceanfront Kaanapali Boardwalk is located on the southern most part of the property and invites you to either take an early morning jog or walk to Whaler's Village for shopping or possibly an evening out to several would class restaurants that offer fresh seafood and maybe even surf and turf. Round trip from start to finish on the board walk is about 2 miles with many points to stop off and enjoy the local flavors.

An additional benefit of staying at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa is a courtesy shuttle. Every 10-15 minutes you can hop on the shuttle at the hotel entrance and be taken to several locations outside the resort. The free shuttle stops at the Lahaina Cannery Mall, Hilo Hattie's and the other Sheraton Resort located several miles from here. If you want to go to town for the evening and don't want to drive then just hop on the shuttle, it's as easy as that!

A nightly cliff diving ceremony with torchlight is offered oceanside while enjoying a cool island drink at the Beachside bar.The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa currently offers the Kaanapali Sunset Luau on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.The buffet style dinner before the show is excellent and not to be missed.

The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa offers a complete full service spa for you to enjoy while staying at this deluxe resort. The Spa is aptly named "The Spa at Black Rock". Also available for you to enjoy while on your Hawaii Honeymoon at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa are several lighted tennis courts and a spacious/ complete fitness center.
