 Kipu Ranch encompasses 3000 acres to explore, and their ATV and four-wheel drive tours take full advantage of every inch. The Ranch, Mountain and Waterfall Adventures are all fun, providing excitement for small groups and families alike. Children under the age of 15 will need to ride in the “mule”, but kids 16 and over will love roaming the lush rainforests, hidden ravines, and miles upon miles of trails that the ranch has to offer. The local guides will provide instruction on the proper use of the vehicles, helmets and other necessary safety equipment. Guests should wear long pants and, closed-toe shoes, and bring along sunscreen and bug repellent. This tour is a great way to see the vibrant Kauai countryside. |

 3 Hour Ranch/Mountain ATV Ride: The 3 hour "Ranch Tour" is our most popular tour. After instruction and some practice time you embark on an exciting journey through the diverse landscape and history that makes Kipu one of the top eco-tours in the state of Hawaii today. You will be sharing the area with cattle, wild pigs, pheasants, peacocks and wild turkeys. Many movies were filmed on Kipu Ranch and the ranch tour takes you to some of those locations. Our guides are often the highlight of the tour as they share the history and legends and point out some of the more interesting sites, medicinal plants and photo spots. They are skilled at getting you comfortable, keeping you safe and making the tour fun for everyone. The views on the Ranch Tour include the incredible view of Kipu Kai from the top of the mountain, through the forests and along the Hule'ia river to the Indiana Jones Swing. The Ranch Tour has some challenging terrain but is a tour and is kept at a safe speed. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned rider you will love the scenery and the trails. We provide drinks and snacks as well as helmets, goggles and bandannas. You should wear long pants and must wear closed toe shoes. Tour times are available at 7am and 1:30pm daily. Tour Includes:

 4 Hour Waterfall Picnic Adventure:Our 4 Hour Waterfall ATV tour is a favorite for those who like to swim in secluded streams and falls. The spring-fed waterfalls on Kipu Ranch are private areas that only you will see. Choose your favorite deli sandwich for your picnic stop. The waterfall ATV tour has some of the more challenging terrain and incredible diversity in views. There are some short hikes up and down steep uneven ground to get to the falls, so you should be in reasonably good shape for this tour. You will see some of Kauai's movie locations, beautiful views, Hawaiian wildlife and historical sites. This is a great camera adventure that you will always remember! We provide helmets, goggles and bandannas as well as drinks, snacks and a picnic lunch. You will need to bring a swimsuit, towel and water shoes if you want to swim. We recommend sunscreen and insect repellent. Please note: Waterfalls and stream conditions are subject to the weather. Heavy rains can make swimming unsafe and droughts reduce waterflow considerably. | NOTE: Must be 16 years of age to operate an ATV. Passengers must be a minimum of 5 years. For passengers under 18, the driver must be 21 years and over. ID is required with DOB. No pregnant women, back/knee problems or any serious health conditions. Long pants are recommended; close-toed shoes are required. Single drivers ride Can Am 400 ATVs, with 400cc engines, automatic transmissions, lower ground clearance and wide wheel base for greater stability. The Bombardier Outlander Max “Bomber” is the premiere 2 person ATV, automatic with on/off select 4 wheel drive and independent suspension. The passenger enjoys an elevated rear seat with backrest and independent handholds. The 600cc Yamaha Rhino is the most comfortable ATV ride. Available for 2 & 4 guests, side-by-side seating ATV offers automatic transmission with on/off push button 4 wheel drive & 4 wheel independent suspension - all ATV but drives like a car. Bucket seats & a steering wheel make the Rhino simple to drive and safer than an ATV. Back passengers must not exceed 200 lbs in total weight and must be between 5-15 yrs old. The guide-driven 5 passenger Polaris Ranger is great for kids or anyone who would rather watch the scenery than the road. | ||||
